The Brief The nursing home hosted a large bright room that incorporated a small modern kitchen, but was tired, old fashioned and rarely ever visited by residents. Branksome House Project

Brief The 7-bedroomed house had been completely renovated with new wiring, flooring etc etc and had been painted in an off-white colour throughout. However, the property wasn’t achieving the desired look the clients wanted. As new furniture and soft furnishings had been purchased for some spaces we needed to work alongside these existing items to avoid additional costs. The Brief Working alongside a developer, the waterfront home required complete refurbishment. The cottage had been neglected and modernisation and re-styling for future habitation was essential. The design was to incorporate 4 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a first-floor open-plan living space. Brief To refresh the lounge area of a New Forest Care Home within a specified budget and inject life and colour back into the space for the enjoyment of residents. The central zone of the lounge has to remain free from furniture for easy access of hoists and wheelchairs.
